Ask anything

Ask Tube Hound anything.

Plain English in, a plain answer out. Routes with every change, what's shut and why, the next train at any station, lifts, the week ahead, and where to eat, drink, or go that is still open when you get there. Every answer is read from the live warehouse, never guessed. Say here and it uses this phone's location for that message only.

  • ● Quickest route and a fewer-changes alternative
  • ● Live status, reasons, and planned works for 7 days
  • ● Next trains, typical waits, and lift notes at any station
  • ● Areas too: Chelsea, Canary Wharf, Heathrow
  • ● Restaurants, pubs, museums and markets open at the time you'd arrive, with the ride to get there

Tube Hound

On this link

Hi. Ask me anything about the Tube, Elizabeth line, Overground, DLR, or Tram.

It answers

  • a trip
  • one line
  • what is shut
  • this weekend
  • lifts at a station
  • the next train
  • where to eat, drink, or go, open when you arrive

It refuses

  • fares
  • last trains
  • buses

The verdict is fixed before the wording, so a sentence cannot clear a closure.

Same answer for an agent

One question, one answer, one card.

An agent asks the same question over plain HTTP, or over MCP at /hound/mcp, and gets the sentence a person sees plus the structured route, station, or places card behind it. Every tool reads the warehouse. None of them call TfL.
